Melissa Cravo is an Audiologist, with a Post-graduate degree in Cognitive Science and is currently an Early Intervention MsC student. In 2009 she started working at Centro de Educação e Desenvolvimento Jacob Rodrigues Pereira in Lisbon, Portugal – an inclusive school for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. Here she developed a special interest for family-centered early intervention, school hearing screening and inclusive educational settings for children with hearing loss.
Since 2008 she has been a board member of the Portuguese Association of Audiologists taking on several responsibilities towards improving audiological practices in Portugal. She is also a member of the European Federation of Audiology Societies (EFAS) Working Group on Audiology & Intellectual Disability.
