Dr. Roeser holds the Lois and Howard Wolf Professorship in Pediatric Hearing in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, and is Director Emeritus of The University of Texas at Dallas/ Callier Center for Communication Disorders in Dallas, Texas. He is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Ear and Hearing and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Audiology and has contributed to multiple publications to the audiological literature.
He enjoys boating, snow skiing in Colorado and international travel, having visited all of the world continents with the exception of Antarctica.His favorite country is Thailand.
His 5-string banjo is resting at the moment, but when he has more time he plans to rejuvenate his bluegrass banjo picking.
He also enjoys jogging the countryside and hiking.
