Patricia Castellanos de Muñoz, CEO of Centro de Audición – CEDAF, has been offering high end services and technology in different scopes of her profession for 26 years: audiological screening and testing for all ages, electrophysiology, hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implants, auditory-oral rehabilitation, hearing conservation programs, vestibular testing and therapy.
Throughout her practice, teaching and training of human resources has been one of her main activities. She has been a guest speaker at many national and international conferences. In Guatemala, and other Latin American countries, she has shared her knowledge with many, built her own team of professionals, developed an academic program of Education of Deaf People, at her first Alma Mater and has networked with many institutions related to hearing loss. She is also adviser in Audiology and Education of Deaf People, for CBM, a worldwide NGO.
She has devoted much time to the service of undeserved people, which led her to create Smiles that Listen Foundation, an outreach program for those in need of audiological services but are not able to afford them. This program currently is networking nationwide.
Paty enjoys traveling and spending relaxing time with her husband and daughter.
She has a very special passion for dogs.
